Estimated Shipping Time Chart
The chart below is estimated shipping time using standard ground shipping.
Due to recent rate increases by UPS, our minimum shipping cost is now $10 on most items except single cards and similar size items.
ABOUT US / BILLING / SHIPPING POLICIES
Retro-Sports opened in July of 1999 with our storefront in Lake Charles, LA. Prior to actually opening our store, we had worked in and around the sports business for the previous 10 years.
Our website launched in February 2000 and since that time we have consistently modified it's graphics and navigation making it as user friendly as possible, while at the same time allowing it to be easily updated on a regular basis..
While our main focus is our storefront for most of our products, we do try and maintain a wide variety of items in many different teams, whether it be our local teams or nationally popular teams. We are always adding new products and teams depending on the market, time of year and availability.. Feel Free to email us regarding specific items, teams or general questions.
PAYMENT METHODS:
We currently accept the 4 major credit / Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express). We also accept Checks and Money Orders. Personal Checks must clear for 1st time customers via online purchases. Cash is only accepted at our storefront. Payment methods for overseas orders is subject to verification. We do not ship C.O.D.
SHIPPING Policies:
We ship all items via UPS ground in the continental United States and USPS to Canada and Mexico. We also ship USPS to some overseas locations. We reserve the right to refuse any order from Overseas locations that we are unable to verify in full.
All UPS shipping is via ground unless other method is requested (2nd day air/next day air).. This method will require additional cost depending on the shipping location and is figured manually. If you need an order short notice (within 7 days of order date), please email us in advance to ensure delivery can be met, if normal ground delivery time is questionable. Most in stock items are shipped within 3 business days max.
All UPS shipments must be delivered to a street address, whether business or residential.. We will not ship to p.o. boxes.. Always double check your shipping address to see that the zip code matches the street address. There is a $5 surcharge if we receive an incorrect delivery address that is corrected and verified by UPS.
Returns:
Any product returns must be pre-authorized via email or phone. Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for most items. This does not include collectible items such as sportscards or opened items that were factory sealed whether contents are damaged or not. If there is visible obvious damage as a result of shipping, then a claim should be reported to the carrier asap and to Retro-Sports.. Any returned item other than those damaged, defective or unable to determine that they were damaged prior to opening are ok within reason. Shipping cost are only refunded for returns that were damaged in transit by the carrier and reported to as such. Sale and Clearance items are not returnable except for size exchange where applicable or if the item was determined damaged in shipping, whereas the above info applies.
PRE-ORDERS:
We do accept pre-orders for some upcoming products such as Mcfarlane figures and Die-cast, depending on the item, presumed availability and release date.. Pre-orders require a credit card, however are not charged until about 1 week prior to shipping out. Cancellation of pre-orders is only accepted before the item has been charged.. Pre-order release dates are subject to change as are item details.. We will inform you of any changes to an item if you have it on order including release date if substantially different.
